A legend of golf, Tiger Woods, he displayed exceptional play for years, and after a number of notable victories, he rightfully earned the title of golf’s greatest player.

In contrast, a new name is popular in the world of golf. The golfer is in the news after the most recent revelation. Winning a championship is a great accomplishment, but beating the G.O.A.T. is a huge accomplishment.

Additionally, this golfer has accomplished a remarkable milestone.

The golf community was shocked a few hours ago after a photo was posted on the LPGA tour’s official Instagram account. Former Swedish professional golfer Annika Sörenstam is the new face of the game, challenging Tiger Woods’ legend.

The pro golfer has created history by winning the same event for five years!

In a post on Instagram, the LPGA tour made a note of it. Annika has won the TOTO Japan Classic five times in a row for the first time in the history of the LPGA and the PGA tour.

She was successful in registering the title in her name from 2001 to 2005. She is currently the only one to have won years in a row first.

If the G.O.A.T. had won consecutive years, why is she the first if you might think so? Six times, but not at the same competition, Woods has won three straight times.

Six different times on the same PGA tour, the legend has accomplished a three-peat. The female golfer, however, won the same competition five times in a row.

Hence, she is the one with the record now.

Annika Charlotta Sörenstam, 52, is regarded as one of the best female golfers in LPGA history. In 2008, the former golfer left the game’s professional ranks.

However, she had accomplished a lot in her career before retiring. On the LPGA Tour, the former golfer won 72 times, including 10 major championships. She is the only female with the most victories, including 90 victories abroad.
